Office Accounting and Administration Assistant

The Accounting & Administration Assistant plays a key role in managing the operations of POS Technologies, an IT business that supports restaurants, clubs and resorts in Utah and surrounding states. This position requires a positive and flexible attitude in supporting the operations of a firm that is fun, dynamic and expanding! Duties include:

  • Lead daily office administration activities.
  • Monitor daily shipping and receiving of items.
  • Use company CRM system (Tigerpaw) throughout day to manage support calls and employee activities.
  • Call customers to resolve outstanding account balances and respond to billing inquiries.
  • Immediately respond to incoming phone calls and email in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Input data into billing system (QuickBooks).
  • Manage employee expense reporting and receipts.
  • Make bank deposits and mail pickup/drops.
  • Maintain stock of printed materials including product brochures and business cards.
  • Additional administrative duties as required to support General Manager and Operations.
  • Actively participate as a key part of a small team that is obsessed with quality, customer service and good times!

Requirements

  • Strong accounting, billing and customer service skills with knowledge of QuickBooks, Excel and CRM systems.
  • Associates degree in accounting and/or at least 2 years of experience in accounting and office administration.
  • Understands acceptance and validation of incoming/outgoing shipments of equipment and supplies.
  • Experience inputting and monitoring order status using on-line tools and working with vendors via phone and email to resolve order issues.
  • Able to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Familiarity with Point-of-Sale (POS) system in a hospitality environment is strongly desired.

Aloha POS Systems Support Technician

Job Description

Are you looking for a career working with the best restaurants, clubs and resorts in Utah?  Do you want to work with technologies from the hospitality industry leader?  Then the Support Technician role at POS Technologies may be for you!  We are growing fast and looking for a POS Systems Technician to support our hospitality industry clients in the Intermountain region. Technician provides installation, repair and remote/on-site support services for NCR/Aloha Point-of-Sale (POS) systems, video surveillance systems, networks and other services and solutions sold and supported by POS Technologies. Successfully manages identification and resolution of customer issues. Supports system implementation and engages customer and team members in completing projects on-time and on-budget.  Actively participates as a key part of a small team that is obsessed with quality, customer service and good times! Position will start at hourly rate D.O.E. with advancement opportunity to salaried role with medical benefits.

Responsibilities

-Identify and resolve technical and operations issues remotely and at customer sites. -Support the installation, configuration, testing and training for complete POS systems. -Support changes to customized menu database for each client. -Utilize company CRM system and input accurate and complete activity logs on a daily basis. -Participates in on-line, on-site and out-of-state training and team meetings as required. -Provide outstanding level of customer support.
Technician works directly with customers and reports to the Manager of Technical Services

Qualifications

-Knowledge of Aloha or similar POS software desired . -Associates degree in IT, certification from a technical trade school or equivalent education and/or experience. -Understand the installation and support of networks and components including switches, routers, firewalls and cabling. -Microsoft, Apple or similar certification/training with strong understanding of Windows. -Available for periodic on-call shifts on nights, weekends and holidays. -Team player able to effectively communicate with managers, co-workers and customers. -Able to climb ladders and lift up to 35 lbs. -Current drivers license and clear background.
